BUT....
WE ARE NOT FINISHED JUST YET!
Join us to finish what over 400 volunteers started in January- building a quarter mile of Oyster Reef at Helen Wood Park in Mobile, just north of Dog River
MARCH 19, 2011 from 8 am until 12 noon.
Volunteers will be passing bagged oyster shell to predetermined locations. Bags weigh between 10 and 20 pounds each.
You must be at least 14 years old to participate. (Under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.)
Note the following tips:
- Be prepared to get wet and muddy.
- Please carpool as parking is limited.
- Water and a light snack will be provided.
Please review clothing guidelines below:
While working, YOU SHOULD WEAR
-Closed Toe Shoes
-Sunglasses/protective eyewear
-Sturdy Work Gloves
-Knee-high Waterproof Boots
-Waders
While working, YOU SHOULD NOT WEAR
-Flip Flops
-Bathing Suits
-Shorts
-Short Sleeves/Sleeveless Shirts
